She was the daughter of the late Charles Curtis & Effie Mae Knight Powell

She is survived by one brother: Claude Powell of Louisville, Ky.

Sister-in-law: Kay Powell of Columbia, Ky.

Several nieces, nephew & a host of other relatives & friends survive

Preceded in death by the following two sons: Clinton Greg Curlee in 1973 & Larry Wayne Curlee in 1974, one brother Tommy Powell, two sisters Carrie Thomas & Nadine Kelly

She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Salisbury, North Carolina, a cosmetologist, homemaker, member of the

Order of Eastern Star Spencer Chapter #31 in Spencer,
