Hermon Ray Conover, 71, of Columbia died Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Taylor Regional Hospital.  Born in Adair County he was the son of the late Bennie and Bertha Bryant Conover.  Mr. Conover was retired from Superior Battery Mfg. Company.

Survivors include his wife Betty Cox Conover of Columbia; a son Chris Conover of Columbia; four grandchildren Caitlyn Zapata (Alberto), Chelsei Conover, Kallie Conover and Jason Conover; a great grandchild Natalie Zapata; five sisters Evalena England of Louisville, Donetta Campbell of Columbia, Sue Hoover of Columbia, Miladean Cox of Edinburgh, IN and Ann Collins of Columbia and several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Funeral services will 11:00am Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Free Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home and continue on Wednesday morning until time for the service.  Bro. Danny Roy and Bro. Robbie Stapp will be officiating.
