HELEN WILLIS McKINNEY, 86 of Columbia, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 23, 2011.

She was born on August 20, 1925 and was the daughter of the late: Leslie and Irene (Rena) Conover Willis

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Edward McKinney who passed

June 20, 2004.

She was a lifelong member of the Columbia United Methodist Church. During her career she worked at

the County Clerk office, Adair Memorial Hospital, and the Adair County Board of Education. She was

currently employed from 1996 to present by McKinney Land Surveying.

Throughout her adult life she compiled a complete family genealogy and actively engaged in helping

others to pursue family information, as recently as two weeks before her death.

She is survived by Children:

Rosemary McGuffin, Marilyn Noel, Michael Edward (Bonnie) McKinney,

Anne Leslie (Glenn Jr.) Stephens

Grandchildren: Mark (Gayle)Henson, Laura (Scott) Griffin, Angie Henson, Trent

Noel, Melanie (John) Bush, Meagan (Jason) Dovenbarger, Miranda (Cain) Gray, Melissa Rodgers,

Quinten Smith, Kristen Stephens .

Great-Grandchildren: Casey, Dallas, Shay Henson, Brianna, Jenna Stinson, Clay Griffin,

Audrina Bush, Sebastian Dovenbarger, Briceson Rodgers

Nieces: Sharon(Willard) Coomer, and Beth (Richard) Grant

Funeral service is Monday, September 26, 1:00 P.M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home,

with Brother Neal Janes and Brother Terry White officiating.

Visitation is Sunday, September 25 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Interment is at Columbia Cemetery

Visitation : Sunday Sept. 25 2011 from 4 to 8:00 P.M. Monday after 6:00 A.M.

Services : Monday Sept. 26 2011 at 1:00 P. M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
