HELEN DOWELL age 102 years of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY

She was born December 4, 1910 at Mell, KY the daughter of the late:

Clarence & Maude Moss Rogers of Adair County, KY

She was preceded in death by her husband Dolphus H. Dowell in 2001

and by two brothers: Chapman & James Rogers and two sisters: Eunice Dowell & Matra Votow

Survived by one daughter:

Juanita Blankenship of Columbia, KY

One bother: E. C. Rogers of Indianapolis, IN

A special friend: Donna Branham of Tompkinsville, KY

And by several nieces and nephews and friends.

Mrs. Dowell was a member of the Columbia Baptist Church, she operated for many years The Coffee Shop and other restaurants in Columbia, she also worked at the Circle R restaurant for 17 years.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at
