Gerald Doss age 77 years of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday February 9, 2017 at 6:15 A.M. at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY

He was born on September 30, 1939 in Pellyton Community of Adair County

the son of the late William Edgar & Nina Irene Sinclair Doss of Adair County

Preceded in death by two sons & one brother:

Jerry Doss on April 3, 1999, Brian Doss on April 17, 2016 and Brother Don Doss

He is survived by his wife: Ida Hinton Doss of Columbia, KY

Four Grandchildren:

Jacob Doss of Columbia, KY

Adam Doss of Columbia, KY

Katie Doss of Columbia, KY

Chelsey (Jeff) Thompson of Campbellsville, KY

One step-son:

Wayne Reeves and his wife Jennifer of Georgetown, KY

Three Great Grandchildren

Two step-granddaughters:

Rachael Reeves & Rebecca Reeves

Also survived by several nephews, nieces & a host of other relatives & friends

Gerald was a member of Central Church of Christ in Columbia, he was a KY Colonel twice, an Insurance Agent and Financial Advisor, he was employed with Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company and Reed Brothers Insurance in Columbia and he was recognized as agent of the month & the year several times
