Born May 25, 1952 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Wallace J. & Claudia Brown Coomer of Adair County

Survived by his wife:

Cynthia Loy Coomer of Columbia

Two sons:

Christopher Wade Coomer and his wife Tiffany Corbin Coomer of Columbia

& Benjamin Joseph Coomer of Columbia

One sister:

Judie Alley Rice and her husband Bob of Columbia, KY

One brother:

Richie Coomer and his wife Sue of Columbia, KY

Grandson:

Braeden Wade Coomer

Several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends survives

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was serving as the Lay Leader. He was a retired school teacher, coach and Administrator for the Adair County Board of Education for 27 years, he was a member of Columbia Masonic Lodge # 96

Funeral service will be Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church

Visitation after 4:00 PM Thursday and after 6:00 AM Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church until time for funeral service
