George Allen Coomer age 77 years of the Chance community passed away Tuesday, October 16,

2012 at 11:45 P.M. at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset after several weeks illness

He was born on Feb. 2, 1935 at Chance in Adair County to the late John Roy "Buck" & Exie Parrish Coomer

Survived by his wife: Lola M. Janes Coomer of Chance

One son: Richard Coomer of Chance

One daughter: Donna Nispuruk of Sauk Villeage, IL

One brother: Stanley "Butch" Coomer of Columbia, Ky.

One sister: Louise (Jimmy) Murphy of Chicago, IL

One grandchild: Jamie Nispuruk

Three great grandchildren: Kali, Evelyn & Michael

also several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was preceded in death one grandson: John Michael Nispuruk, also by

Three brothers & two sisters: Rollen Coomer, John Holland Coomer, Coy O. Coomer,

Sally Bennett & Evelyn Vanheck

Mr. Coomer was a member of Emory Chapel United Methodist Church & a retired heavy

equipment operator
