Genola McClister age 85 years a resident of the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in

Jamestown, KY formerly of the Chance Community in Adair County passed

away Friday, March 13, 2009 at 4:35 A.M. at Fair Oaks after several weeks

illness.

She was the daughter of the late: Mathew and Susie Roach Akin of Adair Co. KY

She was preceded in death by her husband: Clynus McClister on March 25, 1988

Survived by one son: Clynus Dewayne McClister and wife: Phyllis of Chance, KY

Two grandchildren: Brian Draper & Stacey Wooldridge and 2 great grandchildren

Also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Lawrence Akin & Nimmie J. Akin,

Three sisters: Stella Janes, Ina Sparks and Vinie Baker

Mrs. McClister was a member of the Harrod's Fork Baptist Church and a

homemaker.
