She was born on April 9, 1934 in Adair County, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Edward & Anna Valma Blair Young

Preceded in death by her husband John Barnes on Jan. 3, 1985

She had professed faith in Christ, retired from Ohio Bell working

for 40 plus years as a telephone operator
