Gay Alexander, 64, of Columbia, KY died Monday, October 10, 2022, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Adair County on April 20, 1958, to the late Roy Eugene and Sarah Lucille Burbridge Morrison.

Gay was a member of the Grace Independent Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her two children Connie Chisenhall (Kent) and Matthew Alexander both of Campbellsville, KY; four grandchildren Jonathan, Christopher, Breanna and Anthony Dickson; four great grandchildren LaShay Dickson, Cameron Foster, Lexus Dickson and Braxton Dickson; five siblings Coy Morrison (Nancy) of Russell Springs, KY, Janice Morrison of Columbia, KY, Roy Wayne Morrison (Peggy) of Homer Glen, IL, Donetta Hernandez (Tony) of Brookfield, IL and Ray Morrison of Columbia, KY and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Lily Dickson and two sisters Margaret Branigan and Phyllis Dickens.

Funeral services will be 3:00pm Friday, October 14, 2022, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with cremation to follow the services. Visitation will be on Friday after 1:30pm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
