Garry Louis Wall, 69, of Columbia, KY, passed away on February 11, 2026, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 23, 1956, in Columbia, KY, Garry lived a life filled with passion, love, and devotion to his family.
As a proud veteran of the United States Army, Garry exemplified patriotism and commitment, values that carried through to all aspects of his life. He was an avid fan of University of Kentucky basketball, a testament to his love of sports which often brought him joy and served as a bonding experience with friends and family alike. His passion for sports was only rivaled by his devotion to spending quality time with his loved ones.
Garry is survived by his beloved wife, Lee Ann Wall; children Jennifer Grider of Russell Springs, KY, Dustin Brockman (Erin) of Columbia, KY and Austin Curry of Columbia, KY; and two cherished grandchildren, Skye Brockman and Levi Colborne. He is also survived by three brothers, Wayne Wall of Columbia, KY, Jerry Wall (Janice) of Russell Springs, KY, and Donnie Wall (Janet) of Columbia, KY; as well as six sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Bailey (Tommy) of Columbia, KY, Wanda Karnes (Darrell) of Columbia, KY, Barbara Coffey (Randall) of Russell Springs, KY, Carolyn Sullivan of Columbia, KY, Linda Wall of Columbia, KY, and Betty Wall of Columbia, KY. Additionally, he is survived by a sister-in-law, Martha Wall, and several nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Thelma Absher Wall; a brother, Allen "Buddy" Wall, Jr.; a sister, Cheryl Wall; and a brother-in-law, Terry Sullivan. These relationships shaped his life and remain a lasting part of his legacy.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, February 13, 2026, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Freedom Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 6097. Visitation will be after 11:00am on Friday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Garry Louis Wall will be remembered not only for his passion for sports and his military service but also for the love and warmth he shared with those around him. His legacy of kindness and dedication to family will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
