Galena Rooks 98 years of the Allen Schoolhouse Community died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 9:00 PM at the Signature Health & Rehab at Summit Manor Columbia KY.

She was the daughter of the late Reason David  & Martha Jane Judd Redmon.

Preceded in death by her husband Willie Rooks September 16, 1980.

Preceded in death by One son & one daugher:  Arnold Carson Rooks in 1940 & Joyce Foster.

Also preceded by one sister Lula Simpson and two brothers Elmer Redmon & Elvin Redmon

Survived by two sons: Paul Rooks of Columbia, KY

Roger (Marlene) Rooks of Columbia, KY

10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 7 great great-grandchildren,

6 Step grandchildren, 7 Step-great grandchildren & 7 Step great great-grandchildren

one son-in-law:  Finis Foster of Columbia, KY

Several nieces & nephews, and a host of other relatives & friends.

Galena was member of the Philadelphia Church of God and a homemaker.

Funeral Service Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
