Freda Bernice Goodin, 88, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, in Columbia, KY. She was born in Adair County on August 14, 1935, to the late Ulysses S. and Mary C. Bryant Grant.

Mrs. Goodin was a member of the Little Cake Christian Church. She enjoyed traveling the world supporting her husband's military career and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years Edwin A. Goodin of Columbia, KY; three children Cathy Henry (Mike Newfield), Ronald A. Goodin (Beverly) and Vickie Hadley (Andy); nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; a special friend Steven L. Henry; four sisters Rebecca Melton, Judy Watson, Betty Smith, and Sandra Smith; a brother Richard Grant and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers Carlie, Sidney, Herschel, Danny, and Travis Grant.

The family chose cremation, and a celebration of life service will be 3:00pm Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Little Cake Christian Church. A memorial visitation will be on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 1:00-3:00pm at the church.
