Frances H. Wolford, 79, of Columbia, Ky passed away Monday, December 12, 2022, at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia, KY.  She was born in Adair County on January 10, 1943, to the late Brack and Mary Lucy Sneed Coomer.  She was preceded in death by her husband Wilburn "Geary" Wolford.

Mrs. Wolford was a member of the Jones Chapel Church and a former member of the Eastern Star Chapter #835.

Survivors include a sister-in-law Joan Coomer of Glasgow, KY; brothers-in-law Randall Wolford (Nelda June) of Louisville, KY, and Alton "Tom" Wolford (Carol) of Shepherdsville, KY and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Ann Wolford, a brother James Claudus Coomer, a sister-in-law Judith Wolford and two brothers-in-law Eugene and Almon Wolford.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, December 16, 2022, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday after 9:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
