Floyd J. Coomer, 87, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in Palos Hills, IL.  Beloved son of the late Daniel and Lula Coomer and beloved husband of the late Opal McClister Coomer.  He was a member of Masonic Lawn Lodge 815 for over 60 years.

Loving father of Linda (Glen) Dyer, Dennis (Linda) Coomer, Phyllis (late Ron) Szabo, Debbie Coomer, Floyd Jr. (Tina) Coomer, and the late Ronnie (Peggy) Coomer; Cherished grandfather of Tim, Erica, Jason, D'Ann, Renee, and Vicky; Loved great-grandfather of many; Preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.  Fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Floyd will also be missed by many other dear cousins, relatives, and friends.

Visitation for Floyd J. Coomer will be private and reserved only for the most immediate family members on Friday, March 27th at Hills Funeral Home, Ltd., 10201 S. Roberts Rd., Palos Hills, IL 60465.

There will be a private graveside service on April 3, 2020 at the Haven Hill Cemetery.  Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral is in charge of local arrangements.
