Formerly of the Ella Community in Adair County passed away Wednesday,

February 13, 2008 at 8:30 PM at Summit Manor in Columbia, KY

She was the daughter of the late: Herbert and Effie O. Bryant Grant of Ohio

She was preceded in death by her husband: Alvia Kennith Pyles in 1977

Survivors include: Three sons:

Lyndall Pyles of Cookeville, Texas

Terry Pyles of Amirillo, Texas

Jeffrey Pyles of Greensburg, KY

Six daughters survive:

Bernadine Drake of Dunnville, KY Katie Pyles of Elkhorn, KY

Patty Wong of Hanford, California Betty Kearney of Campbellsville, KY

Rita Smith of Columbia, KY Barbara Flatt of Columbia, KY

She was preceded in death by one daughter: Cindy Rowe on Feb. 5, 2008

20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren survive

Mrs. Pyles was retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY

Funeral service: Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating: Bro. Scott Ezell

Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery
