Emily Opal Hancock, 95, of Columbia died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.  Born in Sparksville, KY she was the daughter of the late Joe Willie and Ruth Compton Wooten and wife of the late Kenneth Hancock.  Mrs. Hancock was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church, loved making crafts and was very musically talented.

Survivors include her nephew Danny Loy (Sue) of Campbellsville, KY; great nephews Chad Loy (fiancée Hanna Dandurand) and Brent Loy (Sharon) both of Campbellsville, KY and great great nieces Taylor Loy of Upton, KY and Hannah and Haleigh Gadberry both of Campbellsville.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her first husband Wallace Alexander.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Jody Perkins officiating.  Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
