Elvin O. Giles age 80 years of the Knifley Community passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 12:40 PM at his home after several months illness.

He was born April 8, 1933 in Knifley, Kentucky the son of the late:

Charlie and Nancy Clyde May Giles

Survived by his wife: Imogene Spires Giles of Knifley, KY

One daughter: Sharon Denise Baker of Campbellsville, KY

Three sons:

Keith Elvin Giles of Knifley, KY

Timothy Alan Giles and wife: Darla of Versailles, KY

Jerry Dean Giles and wife: Ann of Columbia, KY

One brother: Carl Clinton Giles of Merkel, Texas

One sister: Lucille Gilliland of Hope, Indiana

Two grandchildren: Jeannie Mitchell & Kyle Riddle

Two great grandchildren: Taylan Mitchell & Greyson Riddle

Also survived by several nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends

Mr. Giles was a member of the Knifley Brethren in Christ Church, a U.S. Air Force Korean Veteran, a retired electrician and supervisor from IMO-Delaval factory in Columbia, KY and was an active member of the Adair County Gideon Camp

Funeral service: Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Interment in the Caldwell Chapel Cemetery at Knifley, KY
