He was born on Dec. 5, 1936 in Adair County, passed into eternity

He was the son of the late Olzy & Hulse Campbell Petty

Preceded in death by a son in 1956, a daughter Cathy Gay Petty in 1974

his step-mother Lelah Campbell Petty and a brother Malcolm Petty

Survived by his wife of 58 years Jeanetta Turner Petty of Columbia, Ky.

a daughter Judy (David) Reliford of Columbia, Ky.

a son Nathan (Linda) Jennings of Columbia, Ky.

4 Grandsons: Brett (Heather) Reliford, Andrew (Bethany) Reliford,

Eric (Alexis) Jennings & Timothy (Julie) Jennings

1 Great grandson: Brantley Case Jennings

3 step-great grandchildren

Elmo was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church,

was owner and operator of Petty's Supply and Petty's Body Shop

Funeral service Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Clergy officiating Bro. Lonny Karnes & Bro. Larry Wisdom

Interment in the Antioch Cemetery
