Elmer Ray Watson age 70 of 164 Louie Court, Columbia, Ky. (the Egypt community) passed away Friday December 26, 2008 at Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

He was son of the late Hubert and Lassie Moore Watson of Chattaroy, West Virginia and was preceded in death by one son Joshua Aaron Watson in 1976.

Survived by his wife: Barbara Jo Bailey Watson of Columbia.

One daughter: Mary Jo Troub of Castle Rock, Colorado.

One son: James Ray Watson of Columbia, Ky.

Three sisters: Leona Reynolds of Loraine, OH. & Ruth Gay Carter of Elyria, OH. & Vada Carol Gill of OH.

Two brothers: William Watson of Peebles, OH. & Jim Watson of Orrtanna, PA.

2 Grandchildren: Christopher & Stacy Troub.

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was a member of the Light House Tabernacle Church of Knifley, KY., full time minister, worked for Cen-tel Telephone, and made belt buckles.

Funeral service Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. CST. At the Light House Tabernacle Church, Knifley, Ky.

Clergy officiating: Bro. Bill Warren & others.

Interment in Robinson Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. CST. Tuesday and 6:00-8:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home and after 9:00 AM at the church.

Visitation : Tuesday after 5:00 PM (CST) and Wednesday 6:00-8:00 AM (CST) at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary and Wednesday after 9:00 AM (CST) at the Light House Tabernacle Church Knifley Ky.
