Elizabeth Gail Hadley, 55, of Columbia, KY, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Born on July 8, 1971, she brought warmth, kindness, and care to all who knew her throughout her years.
Gail was the beloved daughter of Jerald Dwight Hadley and Catherine Hadley of Columbia, KY, who survive her. Her presence was a treasured anchor in the lives of her family, and she leaves behind her loving children: Natalie Redmon, Blake Redmon, Elijah Redmon, Rowan Ferrill and Stellan Ferrill, who held a meaningful place in her heart.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Caleb Dobbs and Logan Dobbs. Gail’s family circle includes her devoted sisters, Emily Roach (Jason) and Ruth Ann Hadley; her cherished nieces Hallie Hadley, Madelyne Bennett (Trenton) and Everly Roach and her nephews Chase Hadley (Danika) and Haviland Roach; a great niece and nephew Bennett Hadley and Briony Hadley. The family grieves also in remembrance of her brother, Douglas Vaughn Hadley, who preceded her in death.
Gail was a 1989 graduate of Adair County High School. Professionally, she served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at T. J. Health Columbia, where her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many. Her commitment to caring for others defined both her career and her personal relationships, evident in the deep love she extended to family, friends, and those in her community.
She found joy and fulfillment in a variety of interests: hunting, singing, and, above all, in spending cherished time with her family and friends. She was known to many for her gentle and generous spirit, always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear.
A woman of faith, Gail attended Hadley Community Church, where her presence was a comfort and blessing to fellow congregants.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 12:00-2:30pm with a private service for her family to follow at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Burial will be in the McClister Cemetery.
Bro. Jimmy Bunch will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jason Roach, Chase Hadley, C.J. Hadley, Martie Spoon, Mark Spoon, and Haviland Roach.
