Elizabeth Alexander age 88 of Columbia passed away Thursday

Dec. 12, 2013 at 6:47 PM at her home

She was born on March 16, 1925 in Adair County

She was the daughter of late Jessee P. & Sinda Jane Burton Powell and the

widow of Walter "Gander" Alexander who preceded her in death

on Nov. 20, 1999

She is survived by four daughters

Linda (Jimmy) Turner of Columbia, Ky.

Judy Keith of Campbellsville, Ky.

Becky (Ken) Witham of Campbellsville, Ky.

Sandy Edmonds of Russell Springs, Ky.

One son

Junior Alexander of Columbia, Ky.

10 Grandchildren Cindy Turner, Jamie Patterson, Marty Anderson,

Mellany Foster, Chris Delk, Tim Delk, John, James & Joe Edmonds,

Brian Alexander and was preceded in by a granddaughter

Amy Elizabeth Delk

Survived by 1 Step-grandson Alan Witham

aslo surviving 13 Great Grandchildren

several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends

also preceded in death by the following brothers & sisters

Woodruff Powell, Willie Powell, Joe Powell, Edd Powell,

Nellie Bailey, Lena McQueary, Ruth Bryant, Fannie Corbin &

Kathleen Miller

She was a member of Beulah Chapel Brethren In Christ Church &

was a retired cook working at Summit Manor Nursing Home
