2:32 P.M. at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky. after an illness

He was born on April 8, 1936 in Adair County

He was the son of the late Condy & Annie Burbridge Grant

He is survived by his wife: Rebecca Claywell Grant of Columbia, Ky.

One daughter:

Sherry VanKuren of Indian Head Park, IL

Two step-daughters:

Diane Coomer & husband Tony of Columbia, Ky.

Carolyn Cowan & husband Gilbert of Columbia, Ky.

One brother: Paul Grant & wife Marlene of Breeding, Ky.

Two sisters: Hazel Hill of Louisville, Ky. & Jewell Sneed of Gradyville, Ky.

Two grandsons: Craig Lyczak & wife Sharon & Brian Lyczak & wife Nan of

Chicago, IL

Two step-grandchildren: Kavin Cowan & wife Nena of Louisville, Ky. &

Bobby Bennett of Columbia, Ky.

Preceded in death by the following one son: Larry Grant on July 9, 1977

Three brothers: Venus Grant, Sanford Grant & an infant Russell Grant

He attended the Hadleys Community Church, retired from Klemp Steel in Chicago, IL.,

he worked Whitney & Whitney Sawmill & for Herbert Gowen,

He enjoyed Bluegrass Gospel Music, Nascar & Gardening
