Elaine Patton age 65 years of the Pellyton Community in Adair County, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 3:10 PM at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY after a short illness.

She was born in Campbellsville, KY on June 20, 1948 the daughter of the late Albert & Emma Lemmon Wilkerson besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Henry Albert Wilkerson, Ken Maynard Wilkerson and Mack Hollis Wilkerson

Survived by her husband: Donald Patton of Columbia, KY

Three sons:

Bryan Jacky Taylor and wife Lisa of Columbia, KY

Byron Joe Taylor and wife: Valerie of Columbia, KY

Christopher Patton of Columbia, KY

One brother:

Charles Willard Wilkerson of Columbia, KY

One sister:

Alice Faye Wingler of Columbia, KY

Five granddaughters: Ashley, Jaclyn, Brittney, Natalie and Lindsey Taylor

Three great grandchildren also survive

Also survived by a very special person in her life: Stephen Freitas of Liberty

Mrs. Patton was a farmer and homemaker

Funeral service: Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM Central time at the Old Pellyton Methodist Church on Old Pellyton West Road, Columbia, KY

Interment in the Pellyton Cemetery

The family request visiting after 3:30 PM till 9:00 PM on Tuesday and from 6:00 AM until 9:00 AM Wednesday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM Wednesday until the service hour at the Old Pellyton Methodist Church in Pellyton, KY

Burial will be in the Pellyton Cemetery
