EILEEN COMPTON age 83 years formerly of the Nell Community in

Adair County, Kentucky passed away Monday January 30, 2012 at 8:50 PM at the

Barren County Health Center in Glasgow, KY after several months illness.

She was born May 9, 1928 in Whiteville, North Carolina the daughter of the late:

Boss Elder & Lou Bertie Soles Coleman

Mrs. Compton was preceded in death by her husband: Clayton Howard Compton on

October 31, 2000

Survived by three sons:

Clayton Timothy Compton & wife: Vicky of Edmonton, KY

Mark Compton and wife: Debbie of Glasgow, KY

Daniel Compton and wife: Mary of Fisherville, KY

7 grandchildren: Candice Robertson, Crystal Kingrey, Nathan Compton, Hannah Colvin, Sara Kyle, William Compton & Robert Compton

11 great grandchildren survive

Survived by one sister and a host of other relatives and friends

Mrs. Compton was the Pastor of the Grace Chapel Church in the Nell Community for 23 years, a homemaker and she enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading.
