EDWARD ARNOLD "ED"  BROWNING, 80 of the Knifley Road, Columbia, KY passed

away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 7:18 PM at the University Hospital in Louisville, KY

after several months illness.

He was born April 28, 1937 in Casey County, Kentucky

The son of the late Cash & Myrtle Smith Browning of Casey County, KY also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters

Survived by his wife:  Mary Hester Browning of Columbia, KY

One son:  Michael Browning of Columbia, KY

Two sisters: Tina Roberts and Bessie (Freeman) Dile both of Columbia, KY

Several nieces and nephews

Mr. Browning was a US Army veteran, a longtime auto body repairman, a former officer of the Columbia Police Department and worked at Lynn Franklin's service station for 16 years.

The family has chosen cremation there will be no funeral service & no visitation

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation toward funeral expenses and may be left at the funeral home
