She was born on April 26, 1923 in Russell County

She was the daughter of the late Martin & Betty Pierce Blankenship,

the widow of Hollis "Bill" Helm who preceded her in death on

Aug. 15 1980 and later married James "Jim" Rippetoe who also preceded her

in death, preceded in death by a daughter

Billie Jo Andrew on July 27, 1970

She is survived by two daughters

Phyllis (Darrel) Grider of Glensfork, Ky.

Kathy Thompson of Glensfork, Ky.

One son

Larry D. Helm of Columbia, KY

One brother Gilbert Blankenship of Jamestown, Ky.

Three sisters

Maxine Antle of Russell Springs, Ky.

Radine Ray of Radcliff, Ky.

Wilma Corman of Lexington, Ky.

5 Grandchildren Lisa Mattingly, J. D. Grider, Shane Coffey,

Denice Skaggs & Michael Andrew

Several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

She was a member of Royville Friendship Church & was retired from

Fruit of the Loom factory
