Edith Marie Irvin age 84 years of Columbia passed away Wednesday March 20, 2013 at

5:00 P.M. at Summit Manor Health & Rehab Center

She was born on March 11, 1929 in Adair County, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Ernest & Elizabeth Sinclair Burton and

the widow of Matthew Irvin who preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1995,

also preceded in death by a son David Irvin on Feb. 21, 2009, two brothers

Roger Winston Burton & Ray Burton and Two sisters Glena Rooks & Eunema Goodin

She is survived by one son

Gearoldene (Ralph) Brock of Campbellsville, Ky.

Louise (Steve) Patton of Campbellsville, Ky.

Charlene (Lester) Brock of Columbia, Ky.

Arlene (Lonnie) McAllister of Columbia, Ky.

Rosemary (Clifton) Bennett of Columbia, Ky.

Libby (Ned) Cunningham of Russell Springs, Ky.

James Alton Burton of Columbia, Ky., Billy Joe Burton of Edinburgh, IN,

& Danny Dale Burton of Flatrock, IN

Freida Hembree of North Vernon, IN, Lucille Cook of Edinburgh, IN

Mrs. Irvin was a member of Purdy Separate Baptist Church and was retired from

the Fruit of the Loom
