Eddie Long, 50, of Columbia, KY died Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home.  Born in Casey County, KY he was the son of the late Willie Woodson and Mable Rich Long.

Despite Eddie's disability from a childhood accident, he was a happy caring soul that brought smiles to everyone that knew him.  He was a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home and loved his family there.

Survivors include seven siblings Barbara Woodrum (Charles) of Lamont, IL, Bonnie Lynn of Hustonville, KY, Violet Bridgers of Nottingham, IL, Marlene Long of Columbia, Dianne Ponder (David T.) of Liberty, KY, Lisa Keeling of Clarksville, TN and Merl Long of Owensboro, KY.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four siblings Carolyn Williamson, Rose Ann Wilson, Marvin Long and Re'nee Long.

Graveside services will be 10:00am Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Bearwallow Cemetery.  Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
