Earl Meditz age 84 years of 17065 Liberty Road Columbia, Kentucky passed away Thursday March 18, 2010 at Ephriam McDowell Hospital in Danville, KY., after several weeks illness.

He was born Oct. 28, 1925 in Milford, Nebraska.

Survived by his wife: Cecelia Carol ( Smith) Meditz of Columbia, KY.

Three sons:

John R. Meditz of Atlanta, Ga.

Mark Meditz of Hobart, IN.

Phillip Meditz of Wheatfield, IN.

Three daughters:

Doris A. Cruse of Valparasio, IN.

Kathyleen Meditz of Ft. Wayne, In.

Lisa A. Shellheart of Wheatfield, IN.

Four Stepchildren:

Raquel R. Miller of Knifley, KY.

Marcia C. Schmucker of Osceola, IN.

James Evans of Wichita Falls, TX.

Tammy Evans of Wichita Falls, TX.

Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sons and one daughter:

Michael Meditz, Robert Meditz and Debra Meditz.

Earl was of the Catholic faith a World War II veteran and a semi truck driver

Funeral service: Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Interment in the Pellyton Cemetery, with full military rites at graveside by Columbia Post VFW # 6097
