Dorothy Mae Loy, 79, of Columbia, died Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia.  Born in Adair County she was the daughter of the late Joe and Estell Page Bardin.

Mrs. Loy attended the Amazing Grace Church and enjoyed helping and taking care of others.

Survivors include her husband Harold Loy of Columbia; two daughters Janeatte Kelsay (Timmy) and Diane Boller (Gary) both of Columbia; six grandchildren Tabitha Giles, Tara Robinson, Joey Keith, Michael Keith, Josh Tweedy and Savannah Tweedy; ten great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren and expecting another; a daughter-in-law Starr Tweedy of Columbia; two special friends Carol Johnson and Nadine Darnell and several other friends and relatives.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons Larry Tweedy and Jeff Tweedy.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bardin Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm and continue Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.

Bro. Ronnie Janes will be officiating and pallbearers will be Jacob Hatcher, Reece Giles, Joey Keith, Josh Tweedy, Travis Coomer, Steve Coomer and Mason Coomer.
