DORIS M. RICH, 89 years of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 6:25 PM at Signature Health Care at Summit Manor in Columbia, KY

She was the daughter of the late Rev. Fred T and Lurter Mae Whitten Carby

Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by her husband Harris Rich on May 1, 1990

Survived by three sons: Dwight Rich and wife Tammy of Columbia, KY George Herbert Lindsey Jr. of Louisville, KY

Paul S. Lindsey of Jacksonville, Florida

Two step daughters Sherry Rock of Exie, KY and Brenda Sue Rich of Campbellsville, KY

One brother: Robert Carby of Louisville, KY

One sister Ruth Seel of Missouri

Six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

Mrs. Rich attended the Bearwallow United Methodist Church and had worked at Sears in Louisville for several years.

A Celebration of her life will be Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM CT at Bearwallow United Methodist Church
