Doris Fay Bailey Burton, 81, of Columbia, KY died Friday, September 24, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Columbia, KY on August 28, 1940 to the late Granville and Estelle Young Bailey.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Leon Burton.

Mrs. Burton was of the Christian faith; she enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son Steve Burton (Sarah) of Columbia, KY; four grandchildren Kyle, Hallie, Kaden and Hayes Burton; a great granddaughter Evelyn Burton; two siblings Kathreen Bailey Branham and Bradford Bailey both of Columbia and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two siblings Elvia Stinson and Sanford Bolin Bailey.

At Mrs. Burton's request there will be a graveside service at 11:00am Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Haven Hill Cemetery and there will be no visitation.
