Dora Helen Thompson age 73 years of the Chance Community, Columbia, Ky. passed away

Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 3:45 P. M. at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Ky.

She was the daughter of the late Willie & Iva Grant Bennett and the widow of Owen Thompson who preceded her in death on April 2, 1997

Survived by two sons: Ricky Thompson & his wife Cathy & Tony Thompson & his wife Scotty of Columbia, Ky.

Four daughters: Janice Appleby & her husband Frank, Diana Roy & her husband Nick,

Stacy Corbin & April Bunch & her husband Jeremy of Columbia, Ky.

One brother: Chandler Bennett of Fairplay, Ky.

One sister: Bernice Rupe of Fairplay, Ky.

Preceded in death by four brothers & four sisters: Vernon, William Zack, Kenneth & Francis Jake Bennett, Gladys Scott, Doris Bennett, Nannie Harvey & Cathleen Loy

12 Grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 10 Great Grandchildren, several other relatives &

A host of friends

She was a member of Glensfork Community Church & Tabor Community Church, sung with the Bennett family, a homemaker & worked at Osh Gosh factory for several years
