Donnie Tucker age 88 years of Lexington, KY formerly of the Knifley Community
in Adair County, Kentucky passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 8:35 A.M. at the Veteran's Hospital in Lexington, KY after several weeks illness.
He was the son of the: Leslie Ewing & Serenia Goodin Tucker of Knifley, KY
Preceded in death by his wife: Mary Glass Tucker on December 1, 1987
Preceded in death by one son: Donnie Glenn Tucker on March 20, 2007
And by one sister: Bonnie Burton
Survived by one son: John L. Tucker of Lexington, KY
Two daughters:
Sue Dunaway & husband Paul of Nicholasville, KY
Mae Lynn Holdaway & William Johnson III of Lexington, KY
Three brothers: O'Conal Tucker of Knifley, KY, L.J. Tucker of Knifley, KY
Roscoe Tucker of Columbia, KY
One sister: Geneva Fair of Campbellsville, KY
6 grand sons & 2 grand daughters, 13 great grandchildren
And by several nieces and nephews
Mr. Tucker was a tool & die maker for 35 years at Standard Products in Lexington, KY, a World War II US Army veteran, a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps and a member of the American Legion Post 313 and of the Catholic faith.
Funeral service: Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM Eastern at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home 463 East Main Street, Lexington, KY

Interment in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Lexington, KY with full military honors presented at the gravesite
Visitation will be Saturday 3:00 PM until 8:30 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM until
5:00 PM Central at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY
Visitation Monday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Eastern at Kerr Brothers 463 East Main Street, Lexington, KY and until funeral time on Tuesday at Kerr Brothers
