Donna Sue Furkin, aged 57, of Columbia, Kentucky, passed away on February 13, 2026, at her daughter's residence in Columbia, KY. Born on April 18, 1968, in Burkesville, Kentucky, Donna was a devoted individual whose life was marked by her Christian faith and love for the outdoors. She found joy in her connection with animals, cherished moments spent singing and treasured the time she spent with her family and friends.

Donna was a beloved mother to her two daughters, Amanda Firkins (Roger) and Jessica Marie Morgan, both of Columbia, Kentucky. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Angelina and Quintonn Firkins, who brought her immense joy and pride. She also leaves behind her loving sisters: Jean Mann Lafaiver (Ken) of Columbia, Kentucky, Cathy Shelton of Lebanon, Kentucky, and Connie Lawhorn of Columbia, Kentucky. Along with her immediate family, Donna is remembered fondly by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Wayne and Louise Lawhorn Furkin. Their guiding presence in her life helped shape the compassionate and caring person that Donna became.

Donna Sue Furkin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit and warmth will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.

Funeral services will be 11:00am on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Harvey Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Monday until funeral time at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Nathan Burns will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Chris Largeuro, Lorenzo Largeuro, Isaiah Largeuro, Ken Lfaivre, Tommy Bradley and Jalen Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Furkin, Jim Price and Neil Sneed.
