DELTA STARGEL age 88 years of the Millerfield Community of Adair County passed away Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 6:30 AM at her home after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late: Joe Clayton and Amanda Claybourn Goodin of Adair County, Kentucky

Survived by her husband of 69 years: Gordon Stargel of Columbia, KY

One son: Phillip Stargel & wife: Faye of Columbia, KY

Four daughters: Marba Coomer & husband Albert of Ramsey, Indiana, Wanda Stargel & Keith Burton of Columbia, KY

Sue Loy & husband: Dan of Campbellsville, KY

Geneal Abrell & husband: Charlie of Columbia, KY

One brother: Wesley Goodin of Columbia, KY

Four sisters: Reba Mcllwain of Columbus, Indiana, Ella Newland of Columbus, Indiana, Margaret Miller of Columbia, KY and Juanita Warren of Columbia, KY

9 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren

4 step great grandchildren

also survived by a special nephew: Danny Goodin of Columbia, KY

Preceded in death by Rev. C. D. Goodin, Anna Lou Goodin, Leonard Goodin, and Joseph Junior Goodin and Stanley Goodin

Mrs. Stargel was a member of the New Hope Separate Baptist Church and was retired from Union Underwear in Campbellsville, KY and a homemaker

Funeral service: Monday, October 23, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Interment in the Tarter Cemetery in Russell County, Kentucky
