DELPHUS FRANKUM age 77 years of 3205 South Johnson Schoolhouse Road, Columbia, KY (the Fairplay Community) passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 8:10 PM at the Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY after several days illness.

He was the son of the late: Martin Lee & Mary Ethel Loy Frankum

of Adair County, Kentucky

Survived by two daughters:

Charlotte Upchurch & husband Mark of Fairplay, KY

Lisa Aaron and husband Terry of Fairplay, KY

Survived by his former wife: Virginia Gadberry of Fairplay, KY

Survived by two sisters: Helen Thomas of Cox's Creek, KY

Lena Wheatley of Madisonville, KY

4 grandchildren: Jarrod Willis, Karren Jo Upchurch, T.J. Aaron,

Jordon Aaron and 3 step grandchildren: Jimmy Cobbler, Jason

& Joshua Upchurch and by 2 great grandchildren, Trevor Willis and Jayden Willis also survived by a host of other relatives and friends

Preceded in death by one daughter: Karen Frankum on July 13, 1995

Preceded in death by three grandchildren: Lindsey Brook Aaron,

Jeremy James Bryant & Amy Jo Bryant

Preceded in death by one sister: Doris Kassem

a former employee of Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
