Delois Harmon Stapleton, 80, of Columbia, KY died Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville, KY.  She was born on September 20, 1941 in Adair County, KY to the late Marvin and Reeda Cook Harmon.  She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Stapleton.

Mrs. Stapleton enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include three children Peggy Dudgeon (Billy) of Campbellsville, KY, Roger Stapleton of Columbia, KY and Harold Stapleton (Sherri) of Russell Springs, KY; four grandchildren April Dudgeon, Megan Bailey (James), Skylar Stapleton (Kaitlyn) and Liley Stapleton and one great grandchild Garner Stapleton and two chosen grandchildren Lisa Newton and Teresa Matthews; her life-long special friend Marvina King; her sister-in-law Della Jean Harmon and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers Ed Joe, Elvin "Buddy" and Jerry Harmon.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bearwallow Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday after 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
