Della Rae Montgomery, 83, of Columbia died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY.  Born in Jamestown, KY she was the daughter of the late Carley D. and Mary A. Davis Polston.  Ms. Montgomery was retired from GE Appliance in Louisville, KY.  She loved Quilting and visiting with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters Terri Molter (Jim) of Louisville, KY and Anna Christine Fugate (Jeff) of Taylorsville, KY; three grandchildren Lauren Coleman, Whitney Cockrell and Emma Fugate; three great grandchildren Stella Coleman, Wyatt Cockrell and Weston Cockrell; a sister Carol Polston Cowan of Columbia, KY; a brother Willard Polston (Faye) of Elkorn, WI and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters Anna Yarberry, Arlene Miller and Phyllis Fudge and six brothers Joe Preston, William, Kirby, Keith, Kenneth and Wallace Polston.

Ms. Montgomery chose cremation and a memorial service will be held in Louisville, KY at a later date.  Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
