Della Jean Redmon, 76, of Columbia, KY died Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Danville, KY.  She was born on June 2, 1945 in Adair County, KY to the late David Burton and Reeda Burton.

Della attended the Freedom Separate Baptist Church and was a member of the Sano Stars Homemaker Club.  She retired from Lindsey Wilson College Dining Center and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years Carl Redmon of Columbia, KY; three children Lisa Robson (James) of Peru, IN, Rodney Redmon (Rhonda) of Columbia, KY and Bobbie Huckaby (Roger) of Columbia, KY; three grandchildren Carlee and Bailey Huckaby and Riley Redmon; one step grandchild and two step great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Jerome Burton and two grandchildren Andrea Townsend and Anthony Huckaby.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Freedom Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue on Tuesday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Darrin Blair will be officiating and pallbearers will Jesse Anderson, Don Kemp, Kelly Kemp, John Denton, Landon Parnell and Gary Mann.
