Deirdre Kay Redman, age 70, of the Millerfield Community in Adair County passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 6:45 PM at her home after a short illness.  She was born June 14, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ, the daughter of the late William Owen.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son John Strand.

She is survived by her husband: Joe Redman of Columbia, KY.

One step-daughter: Laura Russell and her husband Charles of Camby, IN.

Four grandchildren: Steven Strand, Sara Strand, Keera Russell and Della Russell.

She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

Kay retired from the Telecommunications Industry where she worked as a Data Testing Technician.  She had a love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her pets.

Family has chosen cremation.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

There will be no visitation or service.
