August 8, 1937 – October 4, 2024
Davis Bolin "B" Brockman, 87, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. He was born on August 8, 1937, to the late Lewis and Matra Pearl Reynolds Brockman.
Mr. Brockman was a member of the Pollard's Chapel Church, where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent. He was a member of the Adair County Cattleman's Association and a farmer, he enjoyed singing, hunting, fishing, going to the feed mill weekly in his 1950 Chevy truck and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his brother Ores Brockman of Columbia, KY, a sister-in-law Mary Louise Brockman of Columbia and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings Robert Brockman, Wallace Brockman, Charlie Paul Brockman (Tina Corbin Brockman), Edna Brockman, and Ruth Garmon (Russell), a sister-in-law Mary Frances "Shorty" Smith Brockman, and a nephew Alvin Lewis Brockman.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Cane Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Wednesday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Victor Matney will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Sam Brockman, Derek Brockman, Jake Brockman, Jeff Brockman, Phillip Garmon, Charlie Janes, James Brockman, and Bobby Brockman.
