David Lee VanArsdale, age 72, of Cane Valley, KY passed away Friday

August 19, 2016 at 8:58 AM at TJ Samson Columbia Emergency Room

He was born on March 2, 1944 in Columbia, KY

He was the son of the late Cova & Betty Elizabeth Banks VanArsdale

He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice May VanArsdale on November 23, 2002

One brother Bobby Louis VanArsdale & a sister Mary Elizabeth VanArsdale

He is survived by:

One daughter Brenda VanArsdale of Columbia, KY

Two sons, Kenneth VanArsdale and his wife Sandy of Columbia, KY and Louis VanArsdale of Columbia, KY

One brother, Eddie VanArsdale

Four grandchildren: Dylan Collins, Andrew VanArsdale, Jonathan VanArsdale & Renita VanArsdale

several other nieces, nephews, cousins a host of friends survives

David was a member of Columbia Church of Christ,

He was a farmer and retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM CST at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Interment in Cane Valley Cemetery

Visitation will be Sunday August 21, 2016 after 5:30 PM CST and Monday August 22, 2016 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
