Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY after several years illness with cancer.

He was born February 6, 1955 in Romulus, Michigan the son of the late: Robert Thompson

He is survived by his mother Betty Davis Thompson of Nancy, KY

Survived by his wife: Vickie Withers Thompson of Nancy, KY

One son: David Thompson of Sarasota, Florida

One daughter: Tiffany Cope of Green Mountain, North Carolina

One step son: Eddie Paul of Louisville, KY

Survived by 5 grandchildren

Survived locally by his mother in law: Ramona Lane of Columbia, KY

Brothers and sisters in law: Jeralyn and Pam Spires, Mike Withers,

Michelle and Tony Maldonado

He was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Thompson and one grandchild

David was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Somerset, was a journeyman plumber for Epperson Electrical Heating and Plumbing for ten years, member of the Somerset Lodge # 111,
