Darrell Edward Harris, 87, of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born on May 16, 1938, in Ohio County, KY to the late Edward and Ola Neighbors Harris. He was also preceded in death by his wife Claudette Kathleen Royse Harris and a sister Juanita Koehler.

Mr. Harris was a member of Trinity Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, farming woodworking and joining the Burger King breakfast group every morning.

Survivors include his son Phil Harris (Leslie) of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren Christopher Lee Harris (Amanda) and Rachael Elizabeth Schuler (Jake) both of Louisville, KY; three great grandchildren Wade Harris, Archer Harris, and Lorelai Schuler; a brother Larry Harris (Vicki) of Alabama and his beloved "Tom Cat".

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday, October 27, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Monday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Steve Pescosolido will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Tommy Bryant, Richard Phelps, Chris Janes, Joe Lynn Barbee, Don Bault, John Balloe, and Danny Propes.
