Of Adair County Passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2008 at 11:15 A.M. at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky. after several weeks illness

He was the son of the late Coy & Ruth Coomer Furkin

Survived by one daughter: Tabatha Furkin of Shepherdsville, Ky.

One son: Darren Furkin of Chance, Ky.

One sister: Lu Anne Janes of Columbia, Ky.

Two brothers: Donald Furkin of Chance, Ky. & Ronnie Furkin of Columbia, Ky.

Special Niece: Megan Janes of Columbia, Ky.

Also surviving are several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive

He was Preceded in death by two brothers & one sister: Calvin Furkin, Maxie Furkin & Darlene Coomer

Darrell was retired from Bremner Biscuit Company in Louisville, Ky., a member of Calvary Holiness Church

in Brooks, Ky. & a Veteran of the Vietnam War
