DAN FARR, 68 of Columbia, KY died suddenly Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from injuries he received in a single vehicle accident on the Cumberland Parkway near Nancy, KY

He was born July 22, 1949 in Lansing, Michigan

Preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Goodwin Slocum

Survived by his father Rolland Farr of Mecosta, Michigan

Survived by one daughter

Renee Gaskin and husband Scott of Somerset, KY

Three sons

Daniel Farr and wife Teresa of Portland, Michigan

Nathan Farr of West Point, Virginia

Phillip Farr of Somerset, KY

Two sisters

Susan King of Holt, Michigan

Annette Bussell of Farwell, Michigan

Eight grandchildren

Survived by his longtime companion Pam Brown Farr of Columbia, KY

Dan was a US Army Vietnam veteran,  he was a farm equipment salesman at G & G Motors for many years and worked for Adanta Behavioral Services.

A public graveside service will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM Central/ 11:OO AM Eastern at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY with full military rites held by the Columbia VFW Post  6097

The public is welcome to join the family at Mill Springs National Cemetery on Friday morning
