Cymbylene Gowen age 79 years of 9135 Burkesville Road, Columbia, Ky. the Sparksville Community passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 2:05 A. M. at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Ky. after an illness

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison & Mackie Coomer Brown and the widow of Herbert Gowen who preceded her in death on March 1, 1992

Survived by one daughter: Connie Scott of Columbia, Ky.

One brother: Calvin Brown of Columbia, Ky.

Four sisters: Alice Coomer, Claudia Coomer, Lenora Parrish & Audra Campbell of Columbia, Ky.

One half-sister: Faye Bault of Columbia, Ky.

Two Grandchildren: Natasha Kohlmann & her husband John & Clint Scott

Two Great grandchildren: Jack & Anna Belle Kohlmann

Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of other relatives & friends survives

Preceded in death by three brothers Duleth Brown, Herbert Brown & Roscoe Brown

Mrs. Gowen was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church and a retired factory worker

Funeral service Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 2:00 P. M. at Antioch United Methodist Church

Clergy officiating Rev. Ronnie Dooley & Bro. Lonny Karnes

Interment in Antioch Cemetery

Family request visitation after 4:30 P. M. Friday

Visitation : After 4:30 P. M. Friday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Services : Saturday March 24 2007 at 2:00 P. M. Antioch United Methodist Church
