Consuelo Aguirre Cruz, 78, of Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Huetamo Michoacan De Ocampo, Mexico to the late Paulino Aguirre and Amada Cruz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Adrian Morales and four children Amada Morales, Nicanor Martinez, Florencio Garcia, and Victor Morales.

Mrs. Cruz was a member of the Apostoles y Profectas Efecios 2:20 Church and enjoyed serving her savior Jesus Christ. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include eight children Demetrio Martinez, Rene Martinez, Valentino Aguirre, Ana Badillo, Jorge Garcia, Austreberto Garcia, Jose Guadalupe Garcia, and Julio Garcia; thirty-seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren; five siblings Enriqueta Aguirre, Reyna Aguirre, Ofelia Aguirre, Maria Aguirre, and Bartolo Aguirre and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 7:30am Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Apostoles y Profectas Efecios 2:20 Church with burial to follow at the Columbia Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Saturday at the church.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
